B.A. (Bachelor of Arts)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

i) A person shall be eligible to join the first year (Part-I) of B.A.(General) if she has passed one of the following examinations with English as one of the subjects & has also obtained at least 33% marks in aggregate.

ii) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 Standard of Board of School Education, Haryana).

OR

Any other examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to (ii) above, with English as one of the subjects and with the prescribed percentage of marks.A candidate for B.A. (General) Examination shall be required to take up two elective subjects in Part - I from the following elective subjects and same will continue in Part - II and III of the course.

3-Year diploma course examination conducted by various state boards of Technical Education in India, provide the candidate shall pass the subject of Hindi are of +2 level examination, if not already pass at the supplementary level are also eligible.

B.Sc. (General) (Bachelor of Science)

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

i) A candidate shall be eligible to join the First Year (Part-I) class of the B.Sc. (General) if she has passed one of the following examinations with English as one of thesubject & has also obtained at least 40% Marks in the aggregate.

ii) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 standard) of the Board School Education, Haryana.

OR

i) Any other Examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent (ii) above with English as one of the subjects and with prescribed percentage of marks.

ii) A candidate must have studied in the medical/non-medical stream at the XII level.

A candidate applying for the B.Sc. Degree Course shall be required to take up the following subjects in each of the Part-I and Part-II :

(a) Compulsory Subjects:

(i) English along with the papers of B.Sc. Part-I

(ii) Hindi/Sanskrit (alongwith the papers of B.Sc. Part-II)

(iii) Computer Education for students of B.Sc. (Med), (Non-Med), & (Biotech) (Qualifying Paper in B.Sc-I)

(iv) Environmental Studies (Qualifying Paper in B.Sc I)

Note: A candidate coming from a non-Hindi area or a candidate covered under clause 10[III] of ordinance, General Rules for Examinations, shall, if she did not offer Hindi in qualifying examination for admission to B.Sc can offer (in lieu of compulsory Hindi/Sanskrit as the subject) Additional English, which shall carry the same marks as for Hindi/Sanskrit.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

i) A person who has passed any one of the following examination with English as one of the subjects shall be eligible to join the First Year (Part-I) class of Bachelor of Commerce Course.


ii) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) of the Board School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent thereto with at least 40% marks in the Commerce Group or 50% marks in the Non Commerce (Humanities/Science).

OR

Any other Examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent (ii) above with English as one of the subjects and with prescribed percentage of marks as above.

NOTE:

1. Compartment Candidates (Admission In 1st Sem.)

a. A candidate who has cleared or has been allowed to re-appear in one subject only in the 10+2 examination of the Board of School Education, Haryana or any equivalent examination, thereto, may be allowed to admit provisionally at their own risk & responsibility for part-I of B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. If such a candidate fails to qualify the compartment/re-appear subject of supplementary examination or the Annual Examination by Ist Semester, her provisional admission to the course shall be treated as cancelled ab-initio.

b. Compartment candidates will be allowed provisional admission only on merit.

2. Change of The Subject (TDC-I)

If the seats are available in the Subject.

Change of Subject will be allowed up to 31st July with fee of Rs. 100/- per subject. No change of Subject will be allowed after that or after late admission as per combinations allowed in the rules as mentioned above.
